Insurance

Road Runners provides liability to cover events, which is needed to satisfy permits for the use of venues. Individual members receive accident insurance, which covers them against any accident injuries that may be sustained while participating in traveling directly to and from BAAA’s sanctioned event.

Rules and Regulation

Rule making and enforcement are often overlooked as a benefit for every athlete. The BAAA’s rules and /Road Runners By-Laws Regulations and Standards help to create fair and safe competitions. Meets in The Bahamas are held under the IAAF competition rules.

Course Measurements & Record Keeping

Records need to be accurate to ensure the athlete’s next personal record is truly better than the last. BAAA’s Certified coaches, set timing standards and maintain running records to ensure consistency accuracy and legitimacy.
